Zendo Project Care Space: room 705
The Zendo Project offers professional harm reduction education to communities and organizations, and provides peer support services at events to help transform difficult psychedelic experiences, and other complex emotions, into opportunities for learning and growth.If you or another participant needs support related to a psychedelic experience or other crisis, Zendo Project’s trained volunteers offer specialized peer-to-peer support during challenging experiences, psychedelic-related or otherwise, during these days and hours:

DanceSafe Harm Reduction Lounge: room 506
DanceSafe is a public health nonprofit that provides evidence-based drug education, reagent and FTIR drug checking, and consent education at music festivals, concerts, and other community events. They also distribute an improved fentanyl test strip to numerous state public health agencies, harm reduction organizations, and other institutions around the country. If you or another attendee have confidential questions about drug checking or any of their other services, you can talk to them during these days and times:

Psychedelics in Recovery Morning Meetings: room 507
Psychedelics in Recovery (PIR) is a nonprofit that gathers a fellowship of people from all 12-step programs and other paths of recovery who share their experience, strength and hope with each other. PIR follows a similar structure to traditional 12-step programs but adapts the steps to incorporate the insights and healing potential of psychedelic experiences. PIR will be hosting open meetings on the following days and times:

Harm Reduction Workshops
Tuesday - June 17th
Zendo Project - Introduction to Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Peer Support | Morning Half-day Workshop | Cost: $160

This workshop will provide an overview of the fundamental skills for supporting individuals navigating non-ordinary states of consciousness using the framework of Zendo Project's 4 Principles of Psychedelic Care. The workshop will focus on developing skills and practices to support people having challenging, overwhelming, or complex psychedelic experiences.

DanceSafe: How to Check Your Drugs
Harm Reduction Lounge Room 506 | 11am-12pm
Since 1998, DanceSafe has been using analytic chemistry to search through the nation’s drug supply for adulterants, contaminants, counterfeits, and other culprits. Thankfully, there are ways to inexpensively do this at home with a little care and a little DIY chemistry. This workshop will show attendees how to execute two of the cheapest and most popular ways to test for counterfeit substances and harmful contaminants.

Overdose Prevention & Response with SSDP
Expo Hall stage | 5pm-5:45pm
This workshop hosted by Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) will train participants on how to prevent, identify, and respond to opioid overdoses. First, we will discuss the scope of the opioid problem, learn risk factors and contributors to opioid overdoses, and cover the importance of harm reduction. Next, we will teach participants how to identify an opioid overdose, respond to an overdose, and use fentanyl test strips.

Beyond Dope Naloxone Training
Harm Reduction Lounge Room 506 | 11:30am-12pm
Equip yourself to save a life and become a trained opioid overdose first responder. This workshop hosted by Deanna Dunne, founder and executive director of Beyond Dope, will cover the fundamentals of identifying and responding to an opioid overdose. We will also untangle fact vs fiction around fentanyl contamination and discuss some proactive harm reduction strategies to lower the risk of accidental overdose. Naloxone will be distributed to those who complete the training.
Friday, June 20th
DanceSafe x Beyond Dope: Drug Checking & OD Prevention Training
Harm Reduction Lounge Room 506 | 11am-12pm
Want to learn about drug checking methods and opioid overdose prevention? Why choose? The first part of this training, hosted by DanceSafe, will teach people how to use two of the cheapest and most popular ways to test substances for adulterants. The second part, hosted by Beyond Dope, will cover how to recognize an opioid overdose and administer naloxone (Narcan). Naloxone will be distributed to those who complete the training.
Remote Support
The mission of Fireside Project is to help people minimize the risks of their psychedelic experiences in ways such as providing compassionate, accessible, and culturally responsive peer support, educating the public, and furthering psychedelic research, while embracing practices that increase equity, power sharing, and belonging within the psychedelic movement.
Fireside runs the free Peer Support Line for anyone seeking support during or after a psychedelic experience.
