How Do I Get My Tickets?
You can register at http://www.psychedelicscience.com, or call 831-429-6362. No paper tickets will be issued. Please bring a copy of your email invoice to the event to ensure smooth processing at registration. Photo ID will be required if no invoice is present. Cash or checks must be received in our office by April 5, 2013 to secure a registration. In cases when payment is not received before the event, we reserve the right to refuse admission to the event. Payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card.
On-site registrations will be accepted if space is available. Our last Psychedelic Science conference sold out a few days before the conference, so please buy ahead of time!
What Are the Deadlines for Registration Rates?
Early Bird Registration rates are in effect until 11:59 pm (PST) December 21, 2012.
Regular Registration rates are in effect 12:00 am (PST) on December 22, 2012 until 11:59 pm on April 22, 2013.
Are There Discounts?
Can I Get a Free Ticket If I Volunteer?
No, but a limited number of $125 tickets have been awarded through our Worktrade Program, in exchange for 12 hours of volunteer work during the conference. The program is unfortunately full, and we have a lengthy waiting list, so we are no longer accepting applications. To ensure that you receive notifications of future events, please fill out our Volunteer Interest Form.
Where Can I Stay?
Overnight accommodation is not included in the registration fee. However, special discounted rates have been arranged at the host hotel, the Oakland Marriott City Center. It is necessary to contact the hotel directly to receive the discount. You can call the hotel at +1 (888) 236-2427 and reference “Psychedelic Science 2013.” It is advisable to book early to secure these rates, as availability is not guaranteed.
Where Do I Eat?
Continental breakfast is provided 8 to 9 a.m. each day. You are on your own for the mid-morning, lunch and mid-afternoon breaks. There are dozens of small, friendly restaurants near the hotel. Information on their location will be available in your conference packet.
How Do I Get There?
Travel is not included in the conference fee. Oakland Airport is the closest airport. A BART station is located on 12th Street, two blocks across the street from the hotel. The conference organizers are not liable for any non-attendance resulting from delayed or suspended transportation or weather-related travel conditions.
